Q: "How do you select your caregiver?"
A: We hold an in-home or facility evaluation to explain our services and assess the client’s specific needs. We then hand select the most qualified staff member for each client. All caregivers are screened to verify Social Security information, clear driving records, and clear criminal records. Caregivers must also provide three references from former employment.

Q: “How do you train your employees?”
A: Every caregiver participates in our initial training and continues with our onsite training visits. This program covers the most practical topics and situations encountered in home care.

Q: "What happens if my caregiver is sick?"
A: If your caregiver is sick another caregiver will be available to fill in. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to assist with these types of issues.

Q: "Who pays the caregiver – you or me?"
A: We do. Select Home Care handles all employee expenses, payroll, state and federal taxes, liability insurance, and workers’ compensation insurance. We oversee all administrative responsibilities.

Q: "Is Select Home Care a cleaning service?"
A: No. Our focus is always the health, safety and comfort of the clients. However, we do offer light housekeeping: laundry, linen changing, dusting and tidying.
